Baked fish with Ginger Soy

Cuisine: Thai-Chinese * Adapted from steamed fish with soy sauce
Preparing time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 30 Minutes

Ingredient:

• 1 whole striped bass 600-700 grams (1 ½ Lbs) cleaned.
• ¼ cup Thai soy sauce with mush room or regular soy sauce
• ½ cup Ginger, julienne * use the younger part
• 1 table spoon ginger and garlic minced
• 1-2 table spoon canola oil
• 1/3 Sweet red bell pepper, julienne
• 1/3 Green onion, julienne

Ingredient Suggestion:

Fish-Striped bass, Sea bass, pink snapper, and red snapper
Thai soy sauce with Mushroom is different flavor from regular soy sauce

Method:


• Preheat Oven to 400 F.
• Heat oil in small pan, add garlic and ginger minced cook 1-2 minute, with out browning. Add soy sauce simmer for 2 minute. Set a side
• Add fish in baking glass pan. Top with ginger and bell pepper julienne. Add sauce on top. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 20 minutes.
• Open the cover and add green onion, cover and bake another 10 minutes or until fish is cook.

Note: If using fish fillet reduce cooking time to 15-20 minutes depend on thickness of fish.

Serving Suggestion
: Serve warm with steamed jasmine rice
